Card of the Week

This weeks card of the week are very quick and easy to make, we have made one in pink and another in blue using the same techniques but different cutting dies and placements.

Prepare the Base:

• Take a piece of pink or blue canvas card and cut a mat to fit onto your 6×6 blank card.

Cut & Emboss:

• Trim a piece of A4 white card to 5 ¾” x 5 ¾”.
• Place it inside an embossing folder and run it through your embossing machine.

Add a Metallic Effect:

• Gently wipe an ink pad over the embossed surface, using metallic ink will create a lovely shiny effect.

Die-Cut the Embellishments:

• Cut leaves from green card.
• Cut flowers and a greeting from white card.

Add Colour & Assemble:

• Lightly ink the tips of the flowers and words with a colour of your choice.
• Arrange and adhere all elements onto your card for a beautiful finished design!
