Why Choose Us?

The Art of Craft was started in a small shop in Ash Vale in 1985 by Jane and originally sold just knitting yarn. Along came crafts, and she expanded to encompass all manner of crafting trends.  In 2004 we moved to larger premises in Lynchford Road, North Camp where we spent 18 happy years.  With the onset of COVID in 2020 the dynamics of the business changed; more and more people were shopping online and it was no longer viable to rent the big premises we were in.  As luck would have it, as many of you know, Jane is married to Peter who owns Crafts Too.  He had space in his warehouse and we decided to move into a small shop unit from where we operate our mail order.  The unit is set out as a shop and you are more than welcome to visit.  The shop is generally run by Penny with Jane helping out when needed.  Jane spends a lot of her time working with Peter and John Lockwood to introduce new ideas and products for the Crafts Too ranges.
We continue to stock a wide range of cutting dies and embossing folders from various companies, clear stamps, Cricut,  haberdashery and knitting yarns.
