Following the success of last weeks card of the week, here’s another quick and easy card inspired by using one of John Next Doors embossing folders.
Firstly cut a piece of white foundation card to measure 34.5 x 16.6 cm and fold in half to make your card blank.
In silver glitter card cut a square measuring 16.4 x 15.9 cm
In yale blue card cut a square measuring 15.5 x 15.1 cm
Stick squares centrally to your card blank, as shown in sample.
In white pearlescent card cut a square measuring 14.9 x 14.7 cm then emboss using JNDEF3005 confetti frame. Now cut the central square out of your embossed design using a scalpel knife to give it a window effect.
Cut a piece of acetate to stick behind your embossed frame. We gave our acetate a snowy effect by scribbling dots using a white pen on the back side of it.
Cut ADD10115 Christmas reindeers and one of the trees from YCD10053 snowy tree in white foundation card.
Tear a bit of glitter silver card to represent the ground for your reindeers.
Assemble as shown, make sure you use foam tape around the edges of your confetti frame giving it a raised effect.
Finish off by faintly dabbing some izink dye based stamp pad - outremer (overseas) over the embossed dots on your window frame.
