JND067 Honesty Heart
CTA4016 Heart Lattice (A4 embossing folder)
Craft Artist Crystal Silver Card
Cut a piece of pink linen card to measure 28 x 22.9 cm then fold in half to make your card blank.
To make your layered border cut some card in the following colours and measurements
Crystal silver card - 13.6 x 22.6 cm and 11.5 x 20.3 cm
Pink linen card - 13.3 x 22.3 cm 11.5 x 20.3 cm
Lay and stick onto your card blank starting with the largest cut out to the smallest cut out, make sure your smallest crystal silver card cut out is stuck down with foam pads instead.
Cut another piece of crystal silver card to measure 10.7 x 19.7 cm then emboss using folder CTA4016 heart lattice, daub around the edges using izink cerise dye based pad as desired. Wrap a piece of pink ribbon around the embossed panel and stick onto your card blank using foam pads.
Colour a piece of white card in izink cerise dye based pad using a dauber, now cut using the stitched dot heart border from JND067 honesty heart die. Cut the same again in double sided sticky paper and stick to the coloured heart. Cut the stitched dot border and the detailed heart design from JND067 honesty heart in crystal silver card and stick this on top of the sticky paper (be careful because some of the stickiness will be exposed through the heart design). Add glitter or twinkles on top of the exposed sticky parts as desired.
Using cutting die JND072 peony die cut twice in crystal silver card. Using a pokey tool score some lines onto each petal and add colour by daubing with an izink cerise dye based pad. Shape the petals using a large embossing tool on a foam mat, or use your fingers to curl the edges. Layer your peony cut outs on top of each other and secure with a dab of glue to the centre parts. Finish off adding a diamond gem in the centre of your flower.
Assemble as shown, adding hat pins to decorate.
