Card of the week 289
CT20180815-06 Butterfly Dreams
This card was made by John Lockwood for his show last week. I think this all white card lends itself to being a wedding card.
Cut a piece of white foundation card to measure 26.8 x 17.8 cm then fold in half to make your card blank.
Cut rectangles in the following measurements and card to make your layered background.
Pearlescent white card - 13 x 17.5 cm, 11.1 x 15.6 cm, and 10.8 x 15.2 cm
White foundation card - 12.7 x 17.2 cm
Using the embossing folder from CT20180815-06 butterfly dreams emboss onto a piece of white foundation card. Using a pair of scissors up to the embossed border cut out the inner area as shown.
Cut the butterflies from CT20180815-06 butterfly dreams in white pearlescent card (we cut the smallest butterfly 3 times but it’s entirely up to you)
Assemble as shown; the white pearlescent border measuring 11.1 x 15.6 cm and your embossed design should be stuck with foam pads.
Finish off adding a sentiment in the centre of your choice (we used 335 wedding peel off in silver) and adding ribbon and a few pearls as desired.
