This week’s card was made by John Lockwood using his fantastic range of products from his John Next Door collection.

Instructions

Cut a piece of white pearlescent card to measure 34.4 x 17.2 cm then fold in half to make your card blank.

Cut two squares in LKK-A452 old blue linen to measure 16.9 x 16.9 and 13.6 x 13.6cm followed by three squares in white pearlescent card to measure 16.6 x 16.6, 13.9 x 13.9 and 13.3 x13.3cm layer accordingly from largest to smallest making sure your third largest square is stuck with foam pads.

Cut a piece of white pearlescent card to measure 12.5 x 12.5cm, now using izink ink pad 19260 outremer (overseas) bled onto your piece of card from top to bottom gradually putting less pressure as you go down, this will give you a sky effect. When dry use a white glaze pen and speckle you’re your design giving it a snow like effect.

Cut one of the deer scenes of your choice from JND138 deer scenes followed by JND141 woodland trees in white pearlescent card, you may need to trim down the tree scene to fit into the aperture, when everything is cut distress around the edges of your deer scene using izink ink pad 19260 outremer as desired.

Stick your deer scene to the card you have coloured with blue ink, now stick the woodland branch on to small foam dots and overlay on top of the deer as picture.

Cut and emboss JNDEF3012 snowflake swirl folder in white pearlescent card distressing over with izink ink pad Outremer as desired.

Put foam tape around the edges of your snowflake swirl cut out and layer over your deer and tree scene as shown.

Splodge some 80829 izink diamond paint nacre on the bottom of your card and use a spatula to spread it around giving you a raised snow effect as shown.
