Card of the week 308
ADD10191 Snow Crystal
This week’s card was made by John Lockwood using his fantastic range of products from his John Next Door collection.
This week’s card of the week was made using a fantastic new die from Find it Media Amy Designs Winter Friends collection, you can see the whole range by clicking here
Start with a 7x7" card blank. Cut a white square 15.9 x 15.9 cm and ink round the edges with 19411 sky blue pigment ink pad. Cut a piece of silver mirror card to measure 15.5 x 15.5 cm and layer this onto your inked card for the mounts.
Cut a piece of white foundation card to measure 15 x 15 cm and use a blending tool to go over your card with 19411 sky blue pigment ink . When dry we used a star stamp from MAFS013 and randomly stamped over the card with 19119 metal silver ink pad.
Assemble onto card blank as shown
Now using ADD10191 snow crystal cut the largest die twice in orchid sparkle print card followed by the smaller die once - this was trimmed to use just the central snowflake. Pinch each point of the snow crystal to give a 3D effect. Assemble onto your card blank offsetting the two largest cut outs
Finish off adding a little gem and a sentiment of your choice in silver mirror card; we chose CEDME044 Christmas greetings
