Step 1
We’re going to make a 6″ square gatefold card this week. Take your piece of A4 card and trim to measure 11.5 x 6″.

Step 2
Use your scoreboard and butt the short side of your card to the edge and score the A5 gatefold line; flip over and repeat from the other side.

Step 3
Use your bone folder (supplied with the groovy board) to make a sharp crease along your fold lines. This will produce a gatefold card.

Step 4
Choose one of the papers from the dotty & gingham pad and cut two rectangles slightly smaller than the front flaps of the gatefold card, to leave a small border. Ink the edges of the papers prior to sticking them down.

Step 5
Cut a white circle measuring 7cm and adhere to the right hand flap (make sure to glue only half the circle and dry raised so that it doesn’t stick the whole card together!)

Step 6
Use the same die (7cm) and one that is 9 cm together to cut in a similar colour card to your paper. When the white circle has dried lay the coloured frame on the left hand side layering it over the white circle on the right. Again, apply glue only to the half that will stick this to the left hand flap.

Step 7
Use some of the scraps of the paper and stamp out three of the flowers from the funky flowers stamp set and then another three onto the similarly coloured card. Cut them out, shape a little and position on the card.

Step 8
Cut the greeting in either the patterned paper or plain card and adhere to the centre of the circle.
