Card of the Week: Mica Butterflies 🦋✨

This week’s Card of the Week was inspired by the beautiful Presscut 3D Embossing Folder – Open Flower. The intricate design and stunning texture bring an elegant floral touch, perfect for springtime crafting and heartfelt sentiments.

Cut a pink mat 6 3/4″ square

Cut a lilac mat 6 1/4″ square

Cut a 6″ white square and emboss with the open flower embossing folder

Adhere to the card blank (we’ve stuck the pink on flat and used foam tape for the lilac mat)

Using the daubers and mica magic apply colour to the flowers (the tiny daubers are great for the fine flower tips and leaves). Use a slightly darker shade in the flower centres to make them more realistic

Cut the shadow die from the sentiments set in white and use the same colour mica magic to colour it

Cut the greeting in gold and assemble

Attach to the card with foam tape

We’ve added a few gold gems to finish
