Card of the week 564
πCard of the Week β Starlight π
This weekβs featured creation is a vibrant and cheerful masterpiece ππ Crafted with Presscut Postage Squares for a playful, layered look π¬ and finished with a dazzling touch of Starlight Paste β¨π« β itβs a card that truly shines! π

Instructions
Take a piece of A4 gold card and cut the scalloped frame from the postage squares set
With the remainder of the gold card, cover the front of a 5×7 card blank
Cut your black card in half; using one half adhere the gold scalloped frame to it and cut round to make a mat and attach to your gold card blank
Using the other half of the black card: take the four colours of starlight paste and with your finger take each colour and rub into circles – similar to picture – you don’t want to end up with large areas of one colour
Leave to dry
Cut the coloured piece with the postage frames die and trim to the edge of the dotted lines with a trimmer or scissors
Push all the small squares/rectangles from the frame and adhere the frame to the scalloped gold card frame
Taking the pieces you have pushed out we are going to decorate them using stamps and punches. Take note of the colours – you may want to turn the pieces around to break the colours up. Stamp using random flowers and leaves stamps from your stash – we’ve also used a text one that looks good and waves/postage;
We’ve added extra dimension using a butterfly and heart punches punched into the coloured scraps and mounted on foam pads
